FREQUENCY ALLOCATIONS
IMPORTANT Information for CONTROLLER The Following information is most important and it is VITAL that ALL Controller READ, UNDERSTAND and COMPLY with the procedures below. Unfortunately, failure to do so will eventually result in loss of server access, as it is imperative that we keep the ATC provided on this sever to a reasonable minimum standard, or we will start loosing frustrated Pilots and Controllers. As a Controller, I am
sure you can appreciate this. |

Controllers wishing to provide ATC services at the following Airports should create unique LAN USERNAME IDs, that start with the corresponding Airport & Position. example: For Dulles Tower : KIAD_T_120.10_flyboy (where flyboy is up to the first 6 Characters of "flyboy45" , his FS-MP FORUM NAME) and 120.10 is the ALLOCATED Frequency we are using for KIAD Tower Note: ID's are a MAX of 20 Characters: (a) Please do NOT drop trailing Zeros, just to get another Character in your name - |
F =
Clearance G = Ground T = Tower A = Approach D = Departure C = Center |
So, what the need for all this ? We need to be able to identify the CERTIFIED CONTROLLERS by (a) their FORUM ID and ie KIAD_T_120.10_flyboy is forum Flyboy45 Only CERTIFIED CONTROLLERS will be permitted to act as ATC on the Server. Please be sure to ACCURATELY follow the above format |

Please
do not register on the forum with these additional "Controller" IDs. !!!! |

FS-MP COM Frequencies
Unlike any other FSX Multiplayer server, FS-MP COM radio frequencies have a realistic "LINE OF SIGHT" Radio Range. |
ie. You will not hear other aircraft on the same GROUND Frequency, if you are on the ground at another airport more than a few miles away.
However, if you take off and climb, you will start to hear ground communications from nearby airports that share the same frequency.
(On other FSX server, if you transmit on a given frequency, you can be heard on that frequency ANYWHERE on the world !! )
On FS-MP, it's like it is in the REAL WORLD.
